Paper - Health system governance: a triangle of rules
An editorial by Seye Abimbola published in the BMJ Global Health.
LienMany people, including policy makers, struggle with how to define, ‘frame’ and measure governance. Our Collaborative aims to be a place where people collaborate to advance the systems governance frameworks and measurement agenda.
Many people, including policy makers, struggle with how to define, ‘frame’ and measure governance. Our Collaborative aims to be a place where people collaborate to advance the systems governance frameworks and measurement agenda.
Our main goal is to arrive at frameworks which - very practically - help to assess current governance contexts at national and sub-national level. This is not an isolated exercise. Frameworks should support clear actions that will lead to improvement.
We aim to mobilize governance experts, policy makers and implementers through virtual and face-to-face interactions, and co-produce frameworks and ways of measuring (both quantitative and qualitative) that matter in practice. We will disseminate results of this collaboration through publications and other media.
There are different ways in which you can already engage:
A ‘thematic governance lab’ is a methodology which brings together creative multi-disciplinary participants who are willing to think outside the box, and who are focused on local practical solutions.
Here you can upload documents or events, and work on documents jointly with other Collaborative members. For each item that it is uploaded, you can comment and interact with other members about the content or related issues.
