Governance frameworks: the missing links

Start date:

All around the world, people with experience in health systems policy and practice acknowledge the gap between well-designed theoretical governance frameworks and the everyday practices of governance in health systems. This online Collaboration puts the spotlight on the key issue of ‘actionable governance’. How do we frame governance in a way that can tangibly improve the organization of health delivery and the health of people? What are the missing links?

Do you have thoughts and experiences to share on this topic? We’re inviting members to join this Collaboration and reflect on the following questions:

  • What in your experience are the main missing links in health system governance?

For example, in order to make governance work in health systems:

  • Which actions have not been undertaken or not strongly enough?
  • What information is not available?
  • What aspects have not been considered or addressed?
  • Which actors have been neglected?

Explore this Collaboration. We invite your input!

You can upload documents and events relating to this topic, you can create a joint document with other members and you can of course comment and interact with other members on all the content found here.
