Consultation for a proposed Global Network on Anti-Corruption, Transparency and Accountability in Health Systems

When: -   -

The Department of Health Systems Governance and Financing and the Department of Gender, Equity and Human Rights at the World Health Organization (WHO), the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are hosting a Consultation for a proposed Global Network on Anti-Corruption, Transparency and Accountability in Health Systems in Geneva on 26-28 February 2019.

The importance of Anti-corruption, Transparency and Accountability (ACTA) measures for health systems strengthening towards universal health coverage (UHC) and for upholding the right to health and other indivisible rights is crucial. However, efforts in this direction have thus far been largely fragmented and disparate. To that effect, this consultation aims to discuss the creation of a network to coordinate the work of stakeholders in this area.
